Meet Our Employees!
Matt: Although Matt did not consider running to be a sport during his school age days... eventually he saw the light his senior year of high school and has been running ever since. Matt ran collegiately at Canisius College without much fanfare. The sport became a true passion for Matt when he joined the Milford Road runners in 2009 and became competitive in the Connecticut road racing scene. Matt has served in the board for the MRR and is currently is a board member for New Haven Road Race. Matt has worked here at Woodbridge since summer of 2010. Starting as just a part time employee, he eventually became the manager in 2016. Matt loves the process of helping customers find the perfect shoe for them and catching up with all of the regulars when they stop by their favorite store.
Ed: Ed is a cross country coach of 22 years as well as a runner/triathlete since college at SCSU where he competed in xc and track. Helping local runners and student athletes find a new favorite training shoe for the last 21 years has never gotten boring to him!
Leah: Leah's first road race was the New Haven Road Race 20k in 1985. Leah started running and racing more seriously when she turned 40; before that, she ran sporadically. In her 40s she ran 7 marathons and countless shorter races including 5k distances to the half marathon. Now running is recreational and still remains to be a big part of Leah's life.

Julia: Julia was a former XC and Track coach in Connecticut and Florida. She is a motivated weekend warrior who has completed 6 marathons, including notably 3 Hartford marathons & the New York Marathon. Her favorite distance to run is the half-marathon, she has currently completed 35. She has completed 13 half marathons in the year 2013!
Sean: Sean is a Sport Management major at SCSU where he runs Cross Country & Track. He is a 2x Rookie of the Year for the NE-10 conference. Sean is a conference champion in the steeplechase. Sean enjoys running, and is an enthusiast about running shoe technology. Be sure to ask him any questions you may have about upcoming shoe debuts & tech!
Avery: Avery is a Nursing major at Quinnipiac University, where she competes on the Cross-Country and Track & Field teams. She fell in love with running in high school and now focuses on long-distance events at the collegiate level. Avery enjoys helping runners of all levels find the right shoes for their needs and loves talking training, recovery, and race-day prep.
